If no racing has occurred 100% credit has been will be issued to spectators and racers.
Continuing in 2018
Top End Dragways will be using "Real Red"!
Real red is the Port-A-Tree version of True Start which is being implemented into use at many NHRA tracks as well as will be used at the 2017 ET Finals for Division 5 at Topeka.
Real red will be used in all classes running on our bracket weekends. It works by when both racers red light, the winner is the driver with the LEAST red light.
No longer will a red light by the slower car be an automatic win to the faster car.
Upon the slower car launching and getting a red light, the tree will not show a red for that lane, it will wait until the faster car launches.
If the faster car has a green light the red light will then come on for the slower car and win light will be lite for faster car.
In the event the faster car red lights with a WORSE red light, his/her red light will then come on and win light for slower car will be turned on.
If you have questions on Real Red please feel free to email us and we will do our very best to answer any questions you might have.
A reminder to all racers, the SNELL2005 helmets are now (as of Jan 1st 2017) out of date.
All racers who are required to wear a helmet to run must now have a SNELL2010 or newer helmet.
Racers interested in competing for 2017 points, please visit the points tab above for information and the link to the required registration form.
Racers who do not register will NOT receive weekly points for points classes.
The tracks radio station is 107.3, we have completely redone the PA system and FM Transmission system and both should be coming in much clearer.
The FM transmission volume is much closer to a commercial radio station however you may still need to adjust your volume up slightly to hear it.
For 2017, Division 5 will be continuing the Pit Vehicle registration program. All pit vehicles will be required to register and get a serialized sticker which must be displayed on the vehicle. This pass is good at any Division 5 track. Please visit the Track Forms page here for more information.
